Who’s in?

I love Tim Tebow, as a person.  He has one of the most genuine personalities and he’s such a good guy.  He does charitable work, he’s a fantastic role model to everybody and it’s almost as if he doesn’t have a bad bone in his body.
Now, I hate him as a quarterback.  I don’t hate him because he claims he’s good and he is the greatest thing since Jesus, because he just doesn’t do that.  I hate him as a quarterback because people put him up on a pedestal.
I hated hearing about Tebow Time and he’s terrific in the 4th quarter.  Football like ALL sports you have to show up the ENTIRE game, that’s why LeBron still doesn’t have a ring, by the way.
It wasn’t just Tebow who played hard in the 4th, it’s the Denver Broncos who picked up his slack.  If you’re going to give Tebow credit for bringing them to the playoffs and leading them to however many wins, then you HAVE to blame him for his team getting eliminated to the Patriots.
Again, I have absolute respect for this guy as a human being, everyone should try to be like him (maybe minus the hardcore Jesus thing) He will have a very average career that will be cut short at the QB position, hell I’d have him as my starting FB or RB any day.
But… can you say Brady Time?
What do you think?

If your a Bulls fan or a Jazz fan you know that Carlos Boozer does a head wiggle after some type of play that super awesome.
I will be referring to this not only during Bulls games but in just pure moments of awesomeness.  Make us all proud with a # and add #BoozerHeadWiggle or #BHW for short.  Let’s get this trending so the booz does it more often.
Epic yes?

I’m absolutely loving what I see from the Chicago Bulls.  I’ve had the honor (and luck) of watching every game so far.
Yes it is still early in the season, but we’ve played some good teams.  Kobe and the Lakers, CP3 and Lob City, Josh Smith and the Hawks (who could also make a case for Lob City II)  We are 3-1 against the state of California.
The one thing that is troubling me is the effort I see on the boards.  I blame it on the lockout and I know things will pick up.
No surprise that Derrick Rose is still playing his game.  I feel like he’s more confident in his 3 point shot which is always a good thing.
Luol Deng has been an absolute monster, his shot has gotten better and he’s driving to the hoop hard and making big plays.  Ronnie Brewer can no longer be called a defensive specialist anymore, the guy has worked on his shot and it’s showing.  Boozer is also showing why we signed him in free agency last year and needs to keep that up.
The addition of ‘Rip’ Hamilton has been welcome when he’s played and every game he has been in he is slowly learning his role on our offense.  The departure of “Big Sexy” Kurt Thomas was a bit of a shame but it was for the best as “The Turkish Hammer” Omer Asik has stepped up and given us tremendous energy off the bench.  I’d love to see more out of Hot Sauce as always and I hope CJ Watson recovers, but for now we are in good hands with JLIII.
Believe in this year folks, pull out your Cubs mentality and show some support.  We’re taking the title this year, asterisk and all.
Who do you think we’ll face in the Eastern Conference Championship?
What about the NBA Finals?

Look, I get it.  Being a Cubs fan is really, really hard.  Hell, I’ve been one for 17 years now.  No Cub fan can say they’ve been there thru the good and the bad, because it’s all been bad.  Sure we made it to the playoffs and lost and even the NLCS and lost, because if you don’t win the World Series it doesn’t matter how your team does, and what about Jim Hendry?  We fired him three years too late.
Don’t get me wrong I like the new hire of Theo and I know a lot of us Cub fans are but let me just say this, don’t turn on the guy after next year because believe me we will have a bad season next year.  We’re in a complete rebuilding mode, we are trying to figure out which young guys and F.A. we can get to help us be better and that will take time… (Marlins anyone?)
So to all you true Cubs fans, keep your heads up and keep flooding Wrigley as I do and show your support for your Chicago Cubs.

Double standards.
They’re a bitch.
Look, we all know what Michael Vick did, it was horrendous and evil.  Got it.  But he paid his time, he went to prison, he lost EVERYTHING, and now he’s on the path to redemption, can’t we leave the man alone?  Jeez.
Now I love dogs, absolutely love them.  I would never want harm to come to one.  But what the hell is with this double standard?

Look I get it, Vick is a criminal, blah blah blah.
But what about the other players?
What about Brett Meyers?  He beat his wife, consistently but people only remember him for helping the Phillies win a World Series.
What about Donte Stallworth?  He killed a man while drunk driving.  What happened to him?  He went to jail for 6 months and got instantly reinstated to the league.

Those are just two out of many examples of shit that happens to human beings.
Now forgive me for saying this but compared to a human, they’re JUST DOGS.
Or let’s put it in this situation, what happened if someone beat your mother or sister (I love my mother and sister) and what if someone beat your dog?  Now just going to throw it out their, I think the more unforgivable is beating the human.
Again what Vick did was sick and twisted but he’s paid his time.  In my eyes, Stallworth and Meyers and pieces of shit and they are the true scum of the universe.  Open your eyes people.  Don’t forgive Vick if you don’t want to but realize that their are other “men” out there playing the game as if they stole candy.

So Matt Barnes punched some guy in the face.
Good for him.
Honestly, reading the story and whatnot I don’t blame him.
I’ve been hooping for 16 years and there’s a difference between playing hard and playing dirty.
Look, the guy who got punched was trying to have a story.  How he outplayed Matt Barnes.  But really all you ended up doing was upsetting someone you probably shouldn’t have.  It’s like picking a fight with Rasheed Wallace or Ron Artest, you just DON’T.
This guy isn’t playing in an NBA sanctioned game, what makes you think he won’t get rough or physical with you.  I applaud Barnes for punching this guy in the face.  Because let’s face it, you try to pull shit like that at any park or gym and I guarantee you someone is gonna try to jack you in the face.

Besides why would you fight with someone who looks like that?

The Bulls need to bring Kirk Hinrich back to Chicago.  He’s Ronnie Brewer + He’s got defense and he can average around 13ppg as well as just about 6ast a game.
Offensively he’s better than Keith “Bogus” Bogans and Ronnie Brewer.
I don’t think we’ll mind packaging a pick and Bogus to get him either.
I don’t know, what do y’all think?
